Form and Void Games is a business dedicated to making art both in video games and in tabletop format.
The heart you put into your work is the heart the audience gets out. We do this for passion.
This gig is a long-term freelance gig. When work hits, you'll be working full time for some time, but there may be some time between gigs. This is a job great for folks who like freelancing and want some bigger clients but don't want to be tied down by a 9-5 employer.
Duties:
- Create gorgeous 3D sculpts for video games, 3D printing, and who knows what. (Just send us your portfolio)
- Use a tracker to coordinate tasks with the artistic director/manager/clients.
- Follow instructions. Creative expression is encouraged, and new ideas are always welcome, but we still need to do what the client tells us.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional 3D modeling skills
- Exceptional SCULPTING skill. Particularly SCULPTING.
- Specialize in character modeling to some degree.
- The ability to accurately estimate project delivery timelines and cost.
- The ability to put your heart into your work. Like, really really love your work.
Just send in a portfolio. I don't consider any applicants who don't send a portfolio on way or another.
We're trying to make amazing games and models. If you like making games or the IDEA of making this stuff, but also don't want to be tied down by a 9-5 employer, then this is probably the gig for you.
