```Duties```
As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse and ensuring efficient and smooth workflow. Your main duties will include:
- Managing a team of warehouse associates and ensuring they are properly trained and motivated
- Planning and organizing daily work schedules to meet production goals
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborating with other departments to optimize warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency
- Utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 to track inventory and manage orders. Barcode scanning
- Conducting regular performance evaluations for team members and providing feedback for improvement
- Resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the shift
```Skills```
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and warehouse management practices
- Experience in a warehouse environment, including heavy lifting and operating forklifts
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400
- Familiarity with e-commerce processes and order fulfillment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to implement process improvements
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
