Summer Internship

The summer internship programme in Fort Mill, S.C. will be within our Evaluated Pricing Services business.

To be eligible to apply you will be an undergraduate.

We welcome applications from all degree backgrounds however we find that the following degrees are particularly well aligned: Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Business.

Program dates: June 12th - August 18th

Our 10-week Summer Internship Program, for undergraduate students, will enable you to develop key technical skills in the areas of financial analysis and programming. You will gain a deep insight into the pricing process that lies behind all major financial markets and will be able to explore what a career at LSEG would look like.

As a summer intern you will gain exposure to one or two market sectors/groups within Evaluated Pricing Service including: Municipal, Bank Loans, Corporates, High Yield, Derivates, Securitized Products, Customer Service and Compliance/Operational Risk and Controls. We seek to match your interests, skills and background to the roles available, and we will also support you in discovering more about the different areas within Data & Analytics, which you will sit in.

You will deliver meaningful work which drives our business forward as we look to create a more efficient production environment with more automation.

About Evaluated Pricing Service

We are an independent, global evaluated pricing source covering over 2.7 million fixed income securities and derivatives spanning all major financial markets. Our evaluated prices, which provide detailed transparency and market insight, are designed to support asset managers, custodian banks, mutual funds, investment banks, accounting firms, and financial research providers.

Our team consists of approximately 140 fixed income professionals and support staff in 10 locations including: New York, London, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Gdynia, and Costa Rica. Our experienced evaluators apply consistent and transparent pricing methodologies, incorporating observable market data and standard market convention practices.

To be successful on the program, you will need to be a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in financial markets, who shares our passion for innovation and growth.
  • You should have a demonstrable interest in financial markets, which you've built through your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities.
  • A curiosity for data and a strong ability to analyze information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
  • Advanced excel skills and MS Office Skills.
  • The environment we work in is fast paced, you'll need to demonstrate focus, resilience and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
  • People who can collaborate with others, using their strong communication skills in the process.
  • Knowledge of VBA, Python and SQL is a plus.
