This internship position is primarily located in Tucson but remote work options within the United States will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be tasked to learn quality and regulatory in the medical device industry paying close attention to Operations Quality. The candidate will also learn and further develop the data insights landscape across Roche Diagnostics; supporting, building and optimizing metrics and key performance indicators.
In addition, the candidate will be responsible for developing and/or improving digital tools and dashboards that will provide management a snapshot of certain KPIs for the department, such as but not limited to quality event impact on production, quality event status, and nonconformance rates.
Who are you:
- Targeting undergraduate interns majoring in data science, industrial engineering, or other majors related to data analysis.
- Experience or coursework in the diagnostics industry, data analysis, business administration.
- Excellent communication skills.
- IT skills.
- Data analysis skills.
- The ability to present results from the internship to a targeted audience.
- Desire GPA 3.0 or higher.
- Previous work experience preferred.
- Student organization and/or study abroad experiences are a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Program highlights:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university during the program calendar year 2023.
- Intensive full-time, 12-week paid internship.
- Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

- Final presentations of project work to senior leaders.
- Lead or participate in intern committees to design and coordinate program events and initiatives.
- Professional & personal development curriculum throughout the program, including networking opportunities, workshops, and panel discussions.
- Participate in volunteer projects, social events, and team-building activities.
- Paired with a 1:1 mentor through the Roche Young Professionals Business Resource Group.
- Access to on-site fitness and wellness center (subject to change).
- Program start dates in June 2023.
