SalaryGet your foot in the door with Workplace Languages! My name is Ed Rosheim of a company called Workplace Languages - https://www.WorkplaceLanguages.com- based in the Twin Cities. We specialize in online and onsite language training for companies throughout the US, translations and multilingual voiceovers as well as creating work-specific functional bilingual training tools.
We are currently looking for 2 enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Spanish Instructors to teach Online Group Classes for Companies over Zoom. Our courses are only as good as our instructors. We are looking for 2 highly-qualified superb teachers. Feel free to apply for one or both of the positions
Both classes are Level 1 Online Spanish Classes. Both classes are EST.
One Spanish Class starts March 28th and is Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. EST.
The other Spanish Class starts April 4th and is Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. EST.
Both classes will last 10 weeks or 20 total hours of instruction. We have the Spanish curriculum for these classes.
Workplace Languages will provide curriculum but we are looking for an instructor who can develop supplemental materials that meets the specific needs of the participants and the company.
Requirements:
- Please submit BOTH a cover letter + resume.
- Must have at least an MA in Spanish Teaching. If you do not, you will not be considered.
- You must have experience teaching online - preferably with Zoom.
- Please state teaching availability.
- All classes are online. Must have strong Internet Connection.
- Experience teaching adults / professionals in group Spanish classes.
- Curriculum development experience (at least 5 years).
- Experience working with companies a plus.
Workplace Languages will pay $80 per hour for the Online Spanish Group Classes. We will also pay for a new-teacher orientation - 1 hour @ $80/hr. So, 21 total hours paid at $80/hr. or $1,680 Total for each of the 2 Spanish classes.
We will pay 1/3 of the total amount upfront to the instructor, then another 1/3 at the halfway point & the remaining 1/3 at the conclusion of the course.
There is some paperwork / administrative to be completed by the instructor.
The successful candidate will be able to create an engaging and productive learning environment and meet the specific language needs of the participants.
You MUST submit both a Cover Letter and a Resume to be considered for this position. You MUST have at least a MA in Spanish Teaching.
