Summary:
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling, packaging, and processing orders for shipment.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Six (6) months shipping or warehouse experience, preferred
- Oracle EBS / WMS / Synapse / Rf Scanner experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled in Shipping software/systems, Inventory Management systems, and using hand-held scanners
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
- Working knowledge of relevant electronic equipment (scanners, copiers)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates warehouse material handling equipment
- Pulls and prepares products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is packaged
- Adheres to established inventory control systems and computer tracking
- Stocks workstations with material required in the packaging process
- Sorts and palletizes finished product for shipment
- Works towards zero shipping errors
- Works within Company Quality Management System
- Completes and maintains a variety of measurements, reports, records, and documentation
- Strives to improve departmental efficiencies and reduce cost through continuous improvement
- Maintains a clean and safe warehouse and working environment
- Fosters goodwill with internal customers
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends when scheduled
- Perform all other duties assigned

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment. The manufacturing environment is subject to moderate changes in temperature and the employee will be exposed to typical hazards of noise, flying debris, and overhead hazards requiring the use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
