Description:
The Facilities Maintenance Tech Complies with OSHA, and responds to emergency situations to ensure employee, patient and facility safety. Candidates will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of the hospital equipment and building components.
With little supervision the candidates will diagnose mechanical problems, offer solutions, and act to ensure the safety, care, and comfort of the staff and patients.
Professionalism, appearance, and workmanship is key.
7AM-3:30PM M-F

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must Have:
-GED OR HS Diploma
-Basis computer skills (Office or Word)
-3.5+ years of Maintenance Technician or construction field experience
-1.5+ years of maintenance with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC Experience
-Usage of hand tools, power tools, gauges, and electrical testing devices
-ability to life up to 100 lbs
Nice to have:
-Direct Hospital or large scale Hotel/building maintenance
-Knowing the city of Austin Amendments to the code
Degree from Trade School
-Veterans-Navy/Army
